Meet the Dapper Orlando leadership team!

Andrea Roberts
Founder & President
Andrea was born in California and moved to Florida just before turning nine years old. She loves that living here in the Sunshine State offers so many opportunities to dress (well, aside from the humidity). Her mother was her earliest fashion inspiration, teaching her the very important lesson that a hat, purse, shoes, and gloves should always match or at least beautifully coordinate. Andrea gives thanks to the Lord for blessing her with many talents, including sewing, crafting, culinary skills, and more. It has truly been a joy for Andrea to witness friendships blossom here at Dapper Orlando and to experience the love and camaraderie shared within our community.

Lourdes Bonilla Acevedo
Vice President
Lourdes was born in New York and later moved to Puerto Rico at the tender age of twelve. As a teenager, she discovered a deep passion for fashion and spent her years on the island experimenting with creating looks that expressed her unique sense of style.
After Hurricane Maria forever changed the course of their lives, Lourdes and her family and I relocated to Florida. She attended my first Dapper Day weekend in Spring 2023 and had a wonderful time alongside her sister, Mildred. Lourdes was also present for the very first Dapper Orlando gathering and now proudly serves as a member of its Leadership Team.
Lourdes loves the thrill of the hunt—finding just the right pieces and transforming them into a polished, fashionable ensemble. She embraces the challenge of dappering on a budget and takes take great joy in teaching others how to do the same.

Jim Stamberger
Mayor
Jim started his Dapper journey in Kansas City, Missouri. As a producer, director and actor, he found all sorts of incredible opportunities to design costumes, shows, reviews, feasts, festivals, historical coronations, and a myriad of cotillions, parties, and balls. For nearly 20 years, Jim felt privileged to create a variety of stories and shows, filling the lanes with colorful characters such as beggars, fooles, bardes, magicians and kings for the local renaissance festival. Jim has also directed many community theater productions, produced events for historical homes across Missouri, and created legendary Halloween festivities.
In December 2017, Jim relocated to Central Florida and attended my first Dapper event shortly after. He attended the second ever of Dapper Orlando. Too nervous to come on his own, dragged a dear friend along with him that day. Much to Jim’s surprise, he truly discovered his tribe that day, and has been a fixture in the group ever since.
Jim’s dapper looks are iconic within the local dapper community. He says that every look he creates is all about detail, and he is proud of now having quite the closet full of options ready to wear and/or reinvent.

Suzanne has been a member of Dapper Orlando since May 2024. Her love for dressing up started at a very young age as her Mom and Aunt would always sew her clothes and Halloween costumes. Suzanne and her husband made the move to Florida from Rochester, NY in 2019 and she’s been enjoying family, friends and Disney ever since.
As a retired financial controller for Xerox corporation, Suzanne can now focus on volunteering and spreading love and joy to all around her.
